Rande utilizes his combination of technical skills and business development acumen to develop patents for clients that protects their intellectual property and positions it for maximum value. With more than two decades of experience developing technology with government and commercial partners, he understands how to communicate with complex organizations to convert their ideas into inventions, and then into patents.  

Rande is a patent agent with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. 

Since receiving his Ph.D. in Chemistry from UCLA, he has been at the interface of chemistry, materials science, and solid-state physics, and has worked with multi-national companies, universities, and national laboratories on numerous and diverse projects.  He has been recognized by his technical peers by being invited to speak at national meetings, participate in workshops, and has produced a total of more than 150 publications, patents, presentations, and awarded research programs.

Rande is passionate about developing patent portfolios for clients that have a high rate of ROP (Return-on-Patent).  Many people can acquire a patent. Few, however, build a valuable patent portfolio with a high ROP.
